We're interviewing EOS Implementers for "100 EOS Implementers Reveal the Real State of AI in 2026." Most of the findings will wait for the report. This one wouldn't sit still.
Most implementers we talk to use AI the way most professionals do: paste the notes in, ask for a summary, move on. Useful. Level one.
Then we interviewed Debra Chantry-Taylor — a Certified EOS Implementer® running a practice of eleven-plus clients from Melbourne, and one of the most AI-forward implementers we've found anywhere. She doesn't treat AI as a tool she uses. She treats it as something her practice employs:
"On our accountability chart... we actually have AI agents hold seats, and they have very clearly defined roles that they have to do. They have scorecard measurables... we actually believe that the way of the future is that AI will be just like humans on an accountability chart. They'll still need to be overseen by somebody, but they will actually be running in the background doing their tasks, doing their scorecard measurables, very autonomously. And they deserve their own place on the accountability chart."
Sit with that for a second, in EOS terms. Not "we use ChatGPT for marketing." Named seats. Defined roles. Scorecard measurables. Accountability — applied to software, using the exact discipline the method already gave her.
How load-bearing is it? Her words:
"We couldn't live without it these days. We had an internet outage the other day — it was disastrous."
Two things make this more than a fun anecdote.
First: the seats run everything around the sessions — prep, post-session summaries, follow-ups, client comms, marketing. Live capture in the room stays human. The most AI-integrated implementer we've interviewed draws exactly the line every skeptical implementer draws. The difference isn't where the line is. It's how much gets built on the other side of it.
Second: her biggest remaining pain has nothing to do with AI being scary and everything to do with plumbing. Her clients are spread across 90.io, Success & Strategy, Bloom Growth, spreadsheets, and Word docs:
"I would love a tool that brings it all together so I just had one EOS implementer dashboard and I could find everything about my clients in one place."
That's the frontier in one sentence: the practice that has already given AI seats on the chart is now blocked by the same thing blocking everyone else — the client context is scattered, and the implementer's head is still the only place it all comes together.
One practice, today. Not a prediction. The gap between level one and this is not talent or budget — it's a sequence of specific, learnable moves.
We're teaching the first three of those moves live on July 29: 3 AI Level-Ups for Your EOS Practice — free, 60 minutes, working session.
